GABRIELLE NADIG / PRODUCER

GABRIELLE NADIG is an award-winning producer with a strong background in production coordination and management. A graduate of New York Universityʼs Tisch School of the Arts, her professional work has spanned the realm of film, television, and commercials. She has worked for the BBC in London and for the CW show, “Gossip Girl,” as well as numerous feature films in and around New York. As a production manager, she has worked on several commercials for companies such as the Love/Avon Foundation, Bloomingdales, and Last Pictures. Projects produced by Gabrielle have gone on to screen at Tribeca, SXSW, London BFI, and the San Diego Intʼl Childrenʼs Film Festival to name a few. Gabrielle is a co-founder of Buffalo Picture House.
BRANDON ROOTS / DIRECTOR

An award winning cinematographer based out of New York City, BRANDON ROOTS manages visuals for Buffalo Picture House. His eye for composition and lighting has landed him work shooting films and commercials both in the United States and abroad, while his graphics and design work has been integral to promotional campaigns for numerous independent films and production companies. His work has been screened at a number of high profile film festivals including Tribeca, SXSW, London BFI, and Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Brandon is a co-founder of Buffalo Picture House.
FELIX THOMPSON / DIRECTOR

FELIX THOMPSON is an award-winning, Australian filmmaker whose work has been in competition at many prestigious film festivals including Tribeca, SXSW, the London Film Festival, and the Vancouver International Film Festival. Described by Film News Briefs as "a gifted storyteller who sets up incredible characters" his work has also screened at the Director's Guild of America in Los Angeles. Felix has worked professionally for the BBC in London, studied with Philip Seymour Hoffman's LAByrinth Theater Company in New York City, received his BFA in Film and TV from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and his MA in Screenwriting from the Royal Holloway University of London. His commercial work has been distributed both on national television and on-line. Felix is a cofounder of Buffalo Picture House.
ERICA TACHOIR / DIRECTOR

ERICA TACHOIR is an award-winning filmmaker. A graduate of New York Universityʼs Tisch School of the Arts, she has screened her work at film festivals across the country from Nashville, to Newport Beach, San Diego, and Miami, as well as garnering recognition and support from the AmericanLife TV Network and securing distribution with Shorts International for her short film, "Too Sunny for Santa." She has studied at the prestigious FAMU in Prague and in New York with the Atlantic Theater Company, founded by David Mamet. She has also studied long-form improv comedy at New York's Upright Citizens Brigade, under some of the theater's top performers. Erica is a co-founder of Buffalo Picture House.
PAUL PENCZNER / DIRECTOR

PAUL PENCZNER has worked on the editorial teams of major motion pictures such as The Smurfs Movie and The Beaver, as well as television programming for Universal Networks, ITV, Science and WNET. He is proud to have edited several films that have screened at festivals such as Tribeca, SXSW, London BFI, Newport Beach, and Nashville. Paul is a founding member of Buffalo Picture House.
MATTHEW TROY / DIRECTOR

An award winning cinematographer born and raised in New England, MATTHEW TROY has shot countless films around the world from Arizona to the Czech Republic. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, his cinematography has been featured at film festivals including San Diego, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, Nashville, and Washington DC. Matthew is a founding member of Buffalo Picture House.
